Nationalization and creating a landscape park from the Adampol's forests

Adampol along with forests around belonged to the heirs of Czartoryski family. In 1946 forests were nationalized. The then administrator of Adampol didn't react to the nationalization of forests. There was no initiative to get back forests. In 1958 the administrator Lesław Ryży improved, and judicial experts confirmed, that chestnuts, which grew in those forests, were 60% of all the forest stand. According to the then law, it settled that forests should not be nationalized. Unfortunately, the future administrators weren't able to keep this status. Nowadays, the village Adampol is a part of a landscape park, which was created not so long ago. It attracts tourists' attention, but makes the property trade more difficult as well.
